How the math works

The calculator builds your monthly cost to serve one pool: labor per stop (loaded hourly cost × minutes, including the stop's share of drive time), chemicals, vehicle cost, and overhead, at 4.33 visits per month for weekly service. The suggested price is that cost divided by (1 − target margin). Pricing from cost instead of from a competitor's flyer is the difference between a margin you chose and a margin that happened to you.
