How does the free trial work?
Every new company gets 30 days with full access. You pick a plan and add a card when you sign up; nothing is charged until the trial ends, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing. Your data stays yours the whole time.
What is the launch offer?
Your first 6 paid months are half price on every plan: Solo is $14 a month, Starter $24, Pro $49, and Business $99, then the regular price. It applies automatically to the first subscription of every company that signs up by December 31, 2026, after the free trial.
Does every plan include everything?
Yes. Every plan includes the entire product, from the field app and time clock to reports, the customer portal, and the AI writing assistant. Plans differ only by size: customer count, team members, monthly marketing emails, monthly AI drafts, and photo storage.
How does the AI writing assistant work?
Next to every Text action and on the campaign composer, Draft with AI writes the message from the customer's record: their pool, the last visit, the open quote, what they asked for. It uses only those facts and never sends anything; you read the draft and send it yourself. Each tier includes a monthly allowance of drafts: 100 on Solo, 300 on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, 3,000 on Business.
Does PoolBase send text messages for me?
No, and on purpose. PoolBase writes the text and opens it in your own phone's messaging app with the number and message filled in, so it goes out from your number and the customer replies to you. That means no carrier registration, no per-message fees, and nothing texting your customers without you. Emails, by contrast, do send automatically: service reports, invoices, sequences, and campaigns.
Are the marketing tools included?
Yes. Lead capture, follow-up sequences, email campaigns, and direct-mail lists come with every plan. Each tier has a monthly marketing-email allowance: 250 on Solo, 500 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro, 25,000 on Business.
How does pricing work?
Plans are priced per company, with a team-member allowance per tier (1 on Solo, 2 on Starter, 5 on Pro, 10 on Business). One price covers the whole crew, and your bill stays the same as you hire until you outgrow your tier.
How does customer billing work?
However you bill: autopay with a card on file, monthly invoicing, or an invoice per visit, mixed per customer. You connect your own Stripe account from the Payments page and payouts go straight to your bank. Online payments cost Stripe's processing fees plus a 0.5% PoolBase fee.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Anytime. Upgrades and downgrades apply to your existing subscription with prorated billing, and you can cancel from the billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Can I import my existing customers?
Yes. The onboarding wizard imports customers from CSV (a template is provided), and on Business we will help migrate your data from your current system.
What if my company has more than 10 team members?
